AJSTI Membership Levels
Student Member
Student membership is open to all those studying an AJSTI-approved advanced course in Jungian Sand Therapy. Student Member status is granted on an annual basis and entitles the holder to attend all AJSTI-subsidised Open Group Supervision sessions. As with Associate membership, Student members do not have voting rights at AJSTI business meetings.
The current membership fee for Student Member status is €25 per annum.
Associate Member
Associate membership is open to all those with a recognised qualification in the therapeutic field who are studying — or recently completed — an advanced course in Jungian Sand Therapy that has been approved by AJSTI.
Associate membership is only available for the duration of the course and a maximum of two years after it ends. AJSTI Associate Member status is granted on an annual basis only. As with Student membership, Associate Members do not have voting rights at AJSTI meetings.
The current membership fee for Associate Member status is €45 per annum.
Accredited Member
Accredited Member status is available for those who have successfully completed an AJSTI recognised advanced course in Jungian Sand Therapy and subsequently attended 11 group supervision sessions within 18 months of graduation.

AJSTI accreditation status is granted for a period of 3 years, after which time reaccreditation is required.
The current membership fee for Accredited Membership status is €65 per annum.
Accredited Supervisor
Accredited Supervisor status is open to all Accredited Members who have engaged with the appropriate post-graduate supervision for a period of 15 months. They must also hold a recognised qualification in Supervision in the psychotherapeutic field.
Accredited Members pay an additional €30 per annum for Supervisor Accreditation.
Accredited Trainer
Accredited Trainer status can be granted to AJSTI members who hold a recognised Supervisor qualification in the psychotherapeutic field and have been an AJSTI-Accredited Supervisor for no less than two years.

In addition to engaging with the appropriate supervision requirements for Accredited Member status, they must also have completed a series of 12 personal sand trays with an accredited Jungian Sand Therapist (not necessarily a member of AJSTI) in the 18 months immediately prior to submitting an application for Trainer status.
Accredited Supervisors pay an additional €55 per annum for Trainer Accreditation.
