The Association for Jungian Sand Therapy in Ireland (AJSTI) is a legally registered not-for-profit organisation established to foster and promote the highest levels of practice, training, understanding and awareness of Jungian Sand Therapy in Ireland.

The organisation's membership is made up of fully qualified Jungian Sand Therapists as well as therapists in training who hold a recognised qualification in the therapeutic field and are currently studying or recently completed an advanced course in Jungian Sand Therapy.

AJSTI offers five tiers of membership: Student Member, Associate Member, Accredited Member, Accredited Supervisor and Accredited Trainer. The organisation offers full accreditation to members who have satisfied the requirements for same and who subsequently demonstrate continuous adherence to AJSTI’s code of ethics and standards of practice, of which continuous professional development and appropriate supervision are the cornerstones. Student and Associate membership levels are open to all therapists who have recently completed or are actively studying Jungian Sand Therapy and who are also receiving the appropriate levels of clinical supervision.

AJSTI’s Board is responsible for the day to day running and governance of the association and ensuring its compliance with statutory obligations. All our Board Members, including the Chairperson, are volunteers and receive no payment for their time and skills.
